Draft of Redemption Paperback Cover Art

Needed an art project tonight, so I played with making a cover for the paperback of Redemption.  Here it is so far:

I don't know the exact measurements of the binding yet, so that part might grow or shrink depending on editing.

  1. Yours looks really good. I'm not looking forward to doing my own!

  2. Thanks, J. R.! I do need to get around to writing some sort of tutorial for GIMP (that's what I use to make my covers).

...There are a lot of sites/artists out there that offer to make covers for varying fees. I have also seen some artists on the social networks who occasionally offer to do them free, so that may be an option. :)

    1. I use Gimp as well. I have the front cover and I assume that's the hardest part. The artist community on G+ is amazing, though!
