Why the Hawthorn Witches Novella series is ending

Mostly because the books were getting difficult to condense into novella form, though I know some people have enjoyed their brevity. Some avid readers were completing them in a single day between bus commutes to and from work, which is wonderful, but the mounting conflicts, obstacles, and drama that Annie, Gates, Charlie, Vince, and others are facing just can't be contained in less than 40,000 words anymore.

All future works set in the Hawthorn Universe will be novel length.  I thought I would be done with novella #9 by now, but the story just keeps going.  (It may not technically be a "novella" by the time I'm done.  Shh!  Don't tell anyone!)

I don't have any outlined right now, but I've toyed with giving Kendra a novel or two focusing on her earlier years with the werewolves, Camille, Stark, and (of course) Charlie.  I've thought about writing one that focuses on Annie and Gates after this series.  I've thought about giving the whole of Abramstown its own series... Wait, you don't know about Abramstown?  Stay tuned for novellas #8 and #9, then. ;)

I've been at my keyboard so much these last few weeks that I completely missed a couple of new releases, so here they are:
